Work in Progress: Unfinished caparisoned horse of Sir William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke

 

 

I sprayed a base coat in black enamel. Then painted the horse with a base coat in studio acrylic grey.

 

 

This is still in progress and unfinished. The caparison has been painted with a few coats of flat yellow and flat green Tamiya acrylic hobby paint.  Initially, I used studio yellow acrylic to paint the caparison and it came out terrible,  The saddle was painted in studio brunt umber and raw sienna.
