Lieutenant-Colonel Sir Alexander Gordon KCB, Aide-de-Camp to Lieutenant General Thomas Picton, commander of the 5th Infantry Division. He was mortally wounded at Waterloo while rallying Brunswickers near La Haye Sainte at the Battle of Waterloo and died later that night.
