Sand, waves and clouds. A chilly Spring day.

Another big house. I like the copper gutters.

Work in Progress: Unfinished caparisoned horse of Sir William Marshal, 1st Earl of Pembroke

 

 

I sprayed a base coat in black enamel. Then painted the horse with a base coat in studio acrylic grey.

 

 

This is still in progress and unfinished. The caparison has been painted with a few coats of flat yellow and flat green Tamiya acrylic hobby paint.  Initially, I used studio yellow acrylic to paint the caparison and it came out terrible,  The saddle was painted in studio brunt umber and raw sienna.

Brighton Beach Revisited

The Boardwalk at Brighton Beach. This is a big and modern residental estate facing the beach and ocean. The buildings look very clean and nice.

Russian bun. There is a big susage inside.  Better than the Chinese version.  Very tasty. 

Just finished reading Donnie Brasco by Joseph D. Pistone.  This is a very entertaining book in which the fomer FBI agent described in detail how he spent 6 years undercover within the Bonanno crime family.
